Pet Comparison Meme -EDIT- by Hehewuti Pet Comparison Meme -EDIT- by Hehewuti
I've heard it said that people look like their dogs...or do dogs look like their people? I thought it'd be fun to have a side by side comparison 8D

So, what do you think? Do we look alike?

Anyway, this is my puppy, Pilot. I've mentioned him before >w> Everything in his pawprint is true XD He's getting to be an old man but he still flops around the yard after his ball like a puppy learning to walk. It's adorable. His FULL name, Neo Pilot vom Eichen, was chosen by the breeder. It's supposed to mean something like "New Leader of [something]". As far as Internet has told me, Eichen is apparently some place in Germany and also has something to do with Oak. If anyone knows german fluently, a little info would be appreciated ^^; Anyway, since that name is ridiculously long, we just call him Pilot <3 I wanted to change his name to Sarge when we first got him, but, that just seems too...serious? Idk. Anyway, it only ever makes me think of Red vs. Blue now, so it all worked out. I always have to specify to people that, yes, he is purebred German Shepherd. They always think he's mixed with something because of his size and coat. I tell them he's a "German german shepherd", not the American version, which has shorter legs, a thinner build, and the sag in the hips.

The only thing I'm not 100% sure about is his height, I just estimated. He comes up to about my hip, but he's at my parents until we get our own house, so I can't double check right away.

As for MY name ("???"), I'm one of those people who believe that names have a lot of power, and I don't like just anyone knowing my real first name. And no, it's not Brianna, or Brittany, or Bridget, or anything like that. It doesn't even start with a B. Anyway, I don't want to put sensitive (to me) information out there like that, so, for now I am Brii, BUT I don't allow anyone to call me that without permission. Until I say you can, call me Tsuki or Wuti. Thank you.

Finally, I used an older picture for vanity's sake. I cut my hair since then, now it doesn't even reach my shoulders and personally I hate it XD; I can't take a good picture anymore with this stupid hair, so only old pics until I can grow it out again.

That should be all. I'd love to answer any questions :3 I'll upload the blank template now

I'll add more info about my puppy later :3 Bye!

His name means "Neo Pilot of Oaks". Google translator rocks! :)

hahaha, google translator is wrong XD "Neo Pilot" is "new leader", I found that much out. I know that Eichen has something to do with oaks (I think...) but I'd like the opinion of someone who speaks german just in case XD; We call him Pilot anyway so it doesn't matter.

actually, it must be "von den Eichen" (if it were two or more oaks) or "von der Eiche" (if it was only one oak).

but "vom Eichen" is grammatically completely incorrect. XD

Ah, I probably heard it incorrectly then >w< So if his name was Neo Pilot von den Eichen (which we probably slurred together as von-deichen), what would that mean? Roughly, at least.

would be something like.. 'from the oaks'^^. traditionally, it's his last name and also the name of the kennel he came from originally (at least if it is a purebred dog)
and Neo is just its first name, there's no real translation. comes from Greek and means 'new'. and Pilot means pilot, of course.^^

hope i could help you. at least a bit. XD

indeed! I did leave out his last last name. The entire thing is Neo Pilot von den Eichen Hughle (pronounced something like hyew-gl, which was the breeders last name).

So Pilot means pilot? I thought it meant leader...XD languages are confusing. Thank you so much for your help anyway!
